New SimpleTick Upgrade Rolls Out New Features!
Friday, August 20th, 2010We are excited to announce that the new release of the SimpleTick e-ticketing software has just been released and contains a number of new features designed to take your business to the next level.
We have added new features to many areas of the software in order to ensure that you as well as your users have a positive experience using SimpleTick.
Some of the new features added include:
- During the checkout process, if either “Pay At Door” or “Pay By Invoice” are enabled, you have the option to disable either of these options depending on what types of products are in the shopping cart. This way you can fully customize how your site functions.
- You can ask the user to submit comments on their order. Additionally, you can even change the text of “Order Comments” to anything you desire (for example, you could make it read: “How did you hear about us?” If you do not wish to have comments enabled, you can always choose to hide it.
- When an event is created, you can now assign the role of “Promoter” to any user. You can even assign different promoters for different events. When a user is assigned the role of promoter, they will be able to access their own control panel where they can view all events they are assigned as well as view and download all e-tickets for their events.
- E-tickets are now generated faster because their file size is smaller thanks to our restructuring of the e-ticket creation process. Also, we have added a page number to the bottom right corner in order for you to more easily stay organized.
- You can now print all tickets as well as view, download and export. You can sort these tasks by event, time or order ID.
- There has been an update of the HTML editor box in the Admin Panel. This is the box where you can choose to “update event” / “create news article” / “create content page” / etc. The box now has a drop-down menu which allows you to insert hyperlinks to events, articles and much more to any page of your site.
- You can now change two new settings in your Site Settings panel. The first is the “checkout settings” page in which you can fine-tune the display settings of your order checkout page. The second is the “layout” page in which you can customize the background color of Iframes.
Look for our next update in late August!
